I'm recently reached a new era in my life when I turned 50 on July 31st. My youngest, Jeremy, has said to me that life is like a roller coaster ride, and he's right... the last couple of years, however, it's been even more of a roller coaster ride for me than ever. When I've been enjoying the "highs" of this roller coaster ride, I've done great with getting healthier and losing weight, but during the "lows" it's been a struggle to stay healthy, and I just end up gaining back the weight I'd previously lost, and in the end it seems I've taken two steps forward and three steps backward. I've had enough and just don't want to get past my 50th birthday with this excess weight on my body. I need to get it under control. I want to get to a healthier weight and become more physically active, as a daily habit. I need and want to do this because I feel better in every way when I'm more active and my body is healthy, but also to alleviate and/or diminish my changes of getting diabetes, which I'm very susceptible to since it's so prevalent in my immediate family. To be honest, there's also a little bit of vanity involved, I just love dressing up and wearing heels and can't do either, to my satisfaction, with this excess weight. I've signed up for this Maxformation challenge more than once, but I've never truly committed to the process, for one reason or another. I'm feeling like time is running out because the older I get the harder it is to keep starting over. I'm at a crossroads and I'm ready to do this... I'm ready to lose 50 pounds before I'm past 50 and truly believe that with the help of Max Muscles products and team, I can do it.
